I've been talking to many startups, and they all have something in common…

They haven't built their business plan yet.

I put together a video explaining in detail how you can build it, using a one-sided mobile marketplace as an example.

  • One-sided: supply is solved; we only have to worry about bringing buyers to the platform.
  • Mobile: we'll invest in mobile app installs.

→ In the video we go through, in detail:

1) What a business plan is for.

2) How to build it step by step, walking through each of the example's key metrics (new users, recurring, conversion rate, etc).

3) Next steps: build the metric tree and start measuring each of the variables we identified.
